Technical Collaborations

• 20-year technical collaboration with Amsted Industries International, USA for manufacturing Cast Steel Bogies and Centre Buffer Couplers for railway applications, particularly for Indian Railways.
• Over 20 years of collaboration with Cardwell Westinghouse, USA for manufacturing Rubber Draft Gears and High Capacity Friction Draft Gears for the Indian Railways.

Research & Development Initiatives

• Design and development of Self-Steering Bogies for freight car applications on Indian Railways, in association with Dr. Herbert Scheffel of South Africa.
• Implementation of a robust Quality Assurance System meeting the requirements of ISO 9002, AAR M-1003, and Lloyds standards.
