The Company has its manufacturing facilities in the city of Calcutta. Freight Car Bolsters, Side Frames, Centre Plates, Friction Shoes, Brake Beams, Couplers, Yokes, Draft Gears, Followers, Cast Manganese Steel Crossings (Frogs) and Coil Springs are the main products. The Company has a Unit in Faridabad in Northern India manufacturing Steel to Rubber bonded components for Rolling Stock. Besco supplies account for 33% of the population of these equipment on the Indian Railway System. Currently Besco is the market leader in most of these products.
