Besco, formerly Bhartia Electric Steel Company was the first Steel Maker in India to adopt the Electric Arc process. From a small beginning with the setting up of the Ballygunge Plant in 1922, Besco has completed more than 75 years of healthy growth engaged in supply of essential equipment to the core sector of the economy.
